《生物降解》发表关于通过自然产生的微生物菌株、微生物联合体或重组有机体对化学品或废料进行生物转化、矿化、解毒、回收、改良或处理的论文、评论和小型评论。生物降解菌的遗传学和重组生物降解菌的开发生物降解微生物群落的分子生物学研究增强天然生物降解特性和活性。还介绍了生物降解和生物转化技术在土壤、水、污水、重金属和放射性核素、有机卤素、高COD废物、直链、支链和芳香烃方面的新应用;覆盖范围扩展到实验室工艺和生物反应器系统的设计和放大。还提供关于废物生物处理的经济和法律的方面的论文。
