基本信息

2014年，The Condor更名为The Condor：《鸟类学应用》是一本国际性的同行评审期刊，它以两种方式发表有关鸟类学应用的原创研究、综合和评估：应用科学理论和方法对鸟类的保护、管理和生态进行研究;以及将鸟类学知识应用于养护和管理政策和其他对社会具有重要意义的问题。该杂志旨在达到研究鸟类学家和从业人员。秃鹰：《鸟类学应用》是一本在线杂志，每周发表最新文章。发表的文章有一个DOI和最后的页码引用。每季度出版一期。《秃鹰》始于1899年，当时是库珀鸟类学俱乐部的期刊，该俱乐部是加州州的一个鸟类学家团体。从那时起，库珀鸟类学会已经发展成为一个国际组织，秃鹰已经发展成为世界上最重要的鸟类杂志之一。
