《欧洲老龄化杂志:《社会、行为和健康展望》是一份跨学科期刊,致力于了解欧洲社会和世界各地的老龄化问题。EJA发表关于老龄化的社会、行为和人口健康方面的原创文章,并鼓励在这些方面采取综合办法。重点放在发表实证研究(包括元分析),但概念性论文(包括叙述性评论)和方法论贡献也将被考虑。EJA欢迎专家就老龄化的关键问题提出意见。透过促进研究人员与使用研究结果的人士之间的沟通,研究计划旨在协助制定更佳的政策,以及发展更佳的服务长者的做法。进一步说明,“社会”一词是指社会科学中与老龄化有关的研究,由微观到宏观的分析。“行为”一词涵盖了心理老化研究的全部范围,包括基于从年轻到老年的一系列年龄组的寿命方法。“与人口健康有关”一词是指以社会流行病学和公共卫生为导向的研究,包括最广泛意义上的功能健康研究。
