《预防科学》是预防研究学会的官方出版物。《日刊》是一个跨学科论坛，旨在传播预防理论、研究和实践方面的新发展。包括病因学、流行病学和干预在内的预防科学通过同行评审的原创研究文章呈现，涉及各种健康和社会问题，包括但不限于药物滥用、心理健康、HIV/AIDS、暴力、事故、少女怀孕、自杀、犯罪、STD、肥胖、饮食/营养、锻炼和慢性病。该杂志还发表文献综述、理论文章、荟萃分析、系统综述、简要报告、复制研究和有关方法学新发展的论文。
