目前药物输送的目的是发表同行评议的文章,研究文章,简短和深入的审查,以及药物临床试验研究在迅速发展的药物输送领域。现代药物研究的目标是在设计阶段建立药物的递送特性,然而在许多情况下,这一想法无法实现,因此递送系统的开发变得与药物本身的开发同等重要。该杂志旨在报道药物和疫苗递送采用物理、物理化学和化学方法的最新杰出进展。药物包括从简单的药物到肽、蛋白质、核苷酸、核苷和糖的广泛的生物活性化合物。该杂志还将报道转运途径和机制领域的进展,包括外排蛋白和多药耐药性。该杂志是所有参与药物设计、开发和输送的药学家必不可少的。
