基本信息

系统学和生物多样性是致力于整个生物体的生物学。它是一个国际性的、同行评审的生命科学季刊,由伦敦自然历史博物馆出版,不收取页面费用。发表的标准是科学价值。系统学和生物多样性通过具有广泛背景的分类学论文(而不是单一物种的描述)记录所有自然门中生物的多样性,同时也解决与生物收集和系统学原则有关的专题问题。它特别强调了系统学的重要性和多学科意义,其贡献是解决其他领域对系统学的影响,或通过分类学知识促进我们对其他领域的理解,特别是在所有分类学水平上与生物多样性的性质、起源和保护有关的知识。该杂志不发表单一物种的描述、专著或应用研究,也不发表阿尔法物种的描述。分类学手稿必须包括现代方法,如分支学或系统发育分析。
