美国生理学会(APS)是一个致力于促进生理科学教育、科学研究和信息传播的非营利组织。该协会成立于1887年,有28名成员。APS现在有超过10,500名会员。大多数成员拥有生理学和/或医学(或其他健康专业)博士学位。APS由一个选举产生的理事会管理,理事会由一名主席、当选主席、前任主席和九名理事组成。协会的全国总部设在马里兰州州罗克维尔。APS是美国实验生物学协会联合会(FASEB)的成员,该联合会是一个由26个独立协会组成的联盟,在游说生物医学科学家的利益方面发挥着积极作用。
