《相变》是唯一一本专门讨论这一重要课题的期刊。它提供了一个集中的论文在大多数方面的相变在凝聚态物质。虽然重点主要放在实验工作上,但如果理论论文与实验结果有一定关系,也是受欢迎的。感兴趣的领域包括:-结构相变(铁电、铁弹性、多铁性、有序-无序、Jahn-Teller等)在一定范围的外部参数(温度、压力、应变、电场/磁场等)下-地球物理相变-金属-绝缘体相变-超导和超流体相变-磁相变-相变的临界现象和物理性质-液晶-相变的技术应用-量子相变相变出版研究论文和专门讨论专题的特邀文章。主要的评论论文尤其受欢迎。该杂志的另一个重点是出版一些选定的小型讲习班,这些讲习班处于各自领域的前沿。
