《结构地质学杂志》发表了关于结构地质学的过程导向研究,使用模拟和数字现场数据、地震反射数据、卫星衍生数据、几何分析、运动学分析、实验室实验、计算机可视化和所有尺度的模拟或数值建模的适当组合。鼓励投稿者从流变学、岩石力学、地球物理学、变质作用、沉积学、石油地质学、经济地质学、地球动力学、行星地质学、构造学和新构造学等方面提出观点,以提供对变形过程和系统更有力的理解。考虑到学科的可视化性质,以3D或准3D方式描述数据和分析的补充材料,包括使用视频和/或图形摘要,可以显著加强贡献的影响。
