水生生态系统的知识和管理（KMAE-Bulletin Français de la Pêche et de la Pisciculture，自1928年以来）是一个基础，就与淡水生态系统有关的广泛管理和养护问题提供科学咨询意见。有助于科学地了解淡水生态系统和人类活动对这些系统的影响。其范围包括经济、社会和公共管理研究，只要它们与淡水生态系统的管理直接相关（例如欧洲水框架指令、美国清洁水法、加拿大水质指南......），并证明是淡水专家普遍感兴趣的。欢迎发表关于岛屿淡水生态系统和过渡沃茨的论文。KMAE不是分类学、生理学、生物学、毒理学研究的首选期刊，除非可以建立与生态学方面的明确联系。如果文章是更广泛的生态背景的一部分，具有非常描述性内容的文章可以被接受。
