国际性研究期刊,重点关注火山和地热过程及其对环境和社会的影响。鼓励提交涉及火山学和地热研究以下方面的论文:(1)火山系统的地质方面:火山地层、构造和构造影响;爆发历史;火山地貌演化;喷发方式和进程;熔岩和火山灰的散布模式;分析实时喷发观测结果。(2)火山岩的地球化学和岩石学方面:岩浆成因与演化;结晶化;挥发性组合物、溶解性和脱气;火山岩相学和结构分析。(3)水文学、地球化学和测量火山和热液流体:火山气体排放;喷气孔和泉水;火山口湖;热液矿化作用。(4)火山系统的地球物理方面:火山岩和岩浆的物理性质;热流研究;火山地震学、大地测量学和遥感。(5)岩浆和热液过程的计算模拟和实验模拟:喷发动力学;岩浆搬运和贮存;烟羽动力学和火山灰扩散;熔岩流动力学;热液流动;含水流体和熔体的热力学。(6)火山灾害和风险研究:灾害分区方法,开发预测工具;脆弱性和影响的评估技术。
