《非牛顿流体力学杂志》发表了关于流动软物质系统的研究。欢迎提交所有流动复杂流体领域的材料，包括聚合物熔体和溶液、悬浮液、胶体、表面活性剂溶液、生物流体、凝胶、液晶和颗粒材料。与微流控、芯片实验室、纳米流控、生物流、地球物理流、工业过程和其他应用相关的流动问题是感兴趣的。被认为适合杂志的主题包括以下内容（不一定按重要性排序）：自然或技术相关流动问题的理论、计算和实验研究，其中流体的非牛顿性质在确定流动特性方面很重要。我们特别寻求对复杂流体的流动行为提供机械见解或突出复杂流体特有的流动现象的研究。例子包括非牛顿流体中的不稳定性、不稳定和湍流或混沌流动特性，涉及复杂流体的多相流，涉及传热、传质和混合等传输现象的问题，在某种程度上，非牛顿流动行为是传输现象的中心，提示需要进一步理论研究的新的流动情况，流动的实际情况需要系统的理论和实验研究。这些问题和发展通常出现在例如聚合物加工、石油、制药、生物医学和消费品工业中。
