NANO是国际同行评审的纳米科学和纳米技术月刊，介绍前沿基础研究和新兴课题。它的特点是及时报道新的科学成果和技术突破，还包含有关最近热点问题的有趣评论文章。NANO为发表纳米科学和纳米技术研究的理论和实验原创报告提供了理想的论坛。感兴趣的研究领域包括：纳米材料，包括纳米相关生物材料、新现象和新开发的表征工具、制造方法，包括自组装、设备应用、数值模拟、建模和理论。然而，鉴于纳米科学的当前发展阶段，没有实验证据的数值模拟、建模和/或理论手稿被认为与NANO的范围无关。
