基本信息

《应用流体力学杂志》（JAFM）是一本国际性的同行评审期刊，涵盖了流体力学的理论、数值和实验方面的广泛内容。重点是在不同的工程领域的应用，而不是纯粹的数学或物理方面的流体力学。虽然目前存在许多关于流体力学不同方面的高质量期刊，但该领域的研究正在迅速升级。这本新的流体力学杂志的动机是由以下几点驱动的：（1）需要有一个所有流体力学研究人员都可以访问的电子期刊，（2）来自第三世界国家的科学家需要一个不产生出版成本的场所，（3）高质量的论文应该通过有效的同行评审过程快速出版，以及（4）需要一个出口来快速传播在亚洲国家举行的流体力学会议。关于这后一点，目前有一些优秀的会议致力于促进流体力学在该地区，如亚洲会议的流体力学开始于1980年，名义上发生在一个亚洲国家每两年。我们希望，拟议中的杂志提供了额外的动力，促进应用流体的研究和相关活动在这个大陆。该期刊隶属于伊朗物理学会，并与伊斯法罕理工大学（IUT）合作。
