基本信息

《矿物学和岩石学科学杂志》(JMPS)发表矿物学、岩石学、经济地质学、地球化学、行星材料科学和相关科学领域的原创文章、评论和信件。作为国际性期刊,我们的目标是在全球范围内传播日本的研究成果,并成为全球科学交流的高影响因子媒体。鉴于出版物以惊人的速度扩展到包括行星和地球科学、材料科学和仪器分析技术在内的几个领域,该杂志旨在鼓励和发展各种这样的新的跨学科科学领域,鼓励这些新领域在未来的广泛范围内蓬勃发展,并为迅速发展的国际科学界作出贡献。为了科普这种新出现的科学环境,2000年4月,该杂志的两个母学会MSJ*(日本矿物学会)和JAMPEG*(日本矿物学家、岩石学家和经济地质学家协会)合并了各自的杂志(矿物学杂志和矿物学、岩石学和经济地质学杂志)。这次合并的结果是《矿物学和岩石学科学杂志》,与其前身相比,它的范围大大扩大和丰富。
