《生态学杂志》发表关于水生和陆地生态系统中植物(包括藻类)生态学各个方面的原创研究论文。我们不发表只涉及栽培植物和农业生态系统的论文。对植物群落、种群或个别物种的研究以及对植物与动物、真菌或细菌之间的相互作用的研究,只要他们关注植物的生态学。我们的目标是利用任何生态学的方法带来重要的工作(包括分子技术)因此只发表具有强烈生态信息的论文,以促进我们对生态学的理解原则。
