《国际植物科学杂志》自1875年以来在发表植物科学研究方面有着杰出的历史。IJPS提供来自世界各地植物科学各领域实验室的高质量、原创、同行评审研究。课程涵盖了遗传学和基因组学、发育和细胞生物学、生物化学和生理学、形态学和解剖学、系统学、进化、古植物学、植物-微生物相互作用和生态学。IJPS不发表关于农业或作物改良的论文。除了完整长度的研究论文,IJPS还出版评论文章,包括开放访问的库尔特评论、快速通信和观点。国际植物学学会欢迎对植物生物学当前感兴趣的领域提出评价和新观点的贡献。IJPS每年出版9期,并定期就特别感兴趣的主题出版特刊,包括最初在主要植物学会议上提出的新的和令人兴奋的研究。
