脑研究公报(BRB)旨在发表新的工作,促进我们对分子和细胞机制的知识,这些机制是神经网络特性的基础,与神经发育和成人的行为、认知和其他脑功能相关。虽然临床研究不在该杂志的范围内,但BRB也旨在发表翻译研究,提供与神经变性机制、神经疾病和神经精神障碍相关的生物学机制和过程的见解。该杂志对使用新方法的研究特别感兴趣,如光遗传学、多电极阵列记录和野生型和转基因动物模型的生命成像,目的是促进我们对体内神经元、神经胶质和网络功能的理解。
